There are too many car insurance commercials. And they are obnoxious. Root does car insurance commercials differently, because they do car insurance differently. We built a cross platform brand campaign designed to be as disruptive as our product and let consumers know, we don’t need a mascot to save you money.
Along with core brand spots we created a series of faux mascot “commercials” that took a swing at the industry and the Traditional Insurance gags.
As a hired editor on the production team for the 2022 campaign cycle, I helped AL Media with numerous clients prepare for Election Day. Working within a 24/7 post production operation, it truly was a collaborative effort to help output high volume and even higher quality creative.
From 10 minute meals, to 30 minute masterpieces, Home Chef offers meals right to your door to bring out the chef in all of us. We produced tv spots using an artistic top down narrative to let shine the simple yet delicious appeal of the service.
To gear up for the Shamrock Shuffle, Nike Chicago tasked us with finding cool Chi people, beyond the traditional “runner.” We brought their stories to life via Instagram and the Nike Run Club App staying true to who they are, what they do and to Chicago itself.

Had the privilege to work with the state of Illinois to produce video for the “All In” campaign supporting the states efforts in combating Covid-19. Everything cut from the safety of my own home of course.
I had the opportunity to offer support to the Jeep team working on social assets for their 2023 Super Bowl spot “Electric Boogie.” Along with a look at the making of the tune used in the spot, I helped edit Tik-Tok and Instagram assets posted for the campaign.
As the in house senior editor for Root Car Insurance, I was responsible for leading the edit on brand campaigns, social media content, and the companies internal brand content.
Root insurance celebrates their good drivers. But not with streamers, gold stars, or balloons. We do it with SAVINGS. We built a full brand campaign with multiple spots that get to Roots core value of fairness, and rewarding good drivers.
Working with Root sponsor & NASCAR star Bubba Wallace we created videos all race season to promote the brand and engage fans. One race was in honor of NASCAR legend and pioneer Wendell Scott. We created social media content to reveal the car scheme as well as promote the Wendell Scott foundation.

The Illinois Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) provides funding for eligible mothers across the state to have access to quality and affordable child care. It was a blast to help the team at 1o8 agency create a digital campaign to help spread the word and increase enrollment to the program.
What started as a series of 5 TikToks featuring our ambassadors sharing their personal success stories soon evolved. The video performed so well, the state asked us to repurpose for other web channels to continue to spread awareness.
I was also asked to lead the edit of the campaign’s sizzle reel highlighting the full breath of creative and execution behind the work.
As an in house editor for Chicago creative shop OKRP, I have gotten to work on brand campaigns, pitch videos, and the agencies personal brand content.

When Groupon wanted to announce their latest money-saving innovation, they came to us to develop a simple and clear, yet bold and attention-grabbing launch campaign. Using bright, unexpected visuals and a relatable script, we made the new product easy to understand and the spot fun to watch.

What does sensual bathtub time, a bleu cheese presidential campaign, and jamming with a king all have in common? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Which is what makes Chili’s social media randomly awesome, and always a fun edit.
For the past 4 years I have touched the Ace Hardware brand editing broadcast spots. This includes their hardest working jingle campaign, spots for their partnerships, and even celebrating their milestones as a brand.
